APA ITU MATHEMATICS SELF-EFFICACY?

Matematika sekolah memiliki peranan penting bagi siswa, yang akan menjadi bekal pengetahuan dan pembentukan pola pikir serta sikapnya, agar dapat hidup layak, untuk kemajuan negara, dan mengembangkan dan melestarikan matematika itu sendiri. Selain kemampuan kognitif, aspek afektif juga turut memberikan kontribusi dan dapat menentukan keberhasilan siswa untuk mencapai ketuntasan dan keberhasilan dalam belajar matematika dengan baik. Self-efficacy (efikasi diri) merupakan salah satu aspek afektif yang mempengaruhi prestasi siswa dan mempengaruhi siswa dalam memilih kegiatan yang akan dilakukan. Efikasi diri dapat menentukan tidandakan siswa dalam mencapai sesuatu yang dinginkan temasuk dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Tulisan ini membahas tentang mathematic self-efficacy (efikasi diri matematis), sumber self-efficacy, dimensi self-efficacy dan indikator self-eficacy.
