PENGGUNAAN GESTURE DALAM MEMPERBAIKI KESALAHAN PROSEDURAL SISWA DALAM PROSES DISKUSI PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan gesture untuk memperbaiki kesalahan prosedural siswa dalam proses diskusi pemecahan masalah matematika. Hasil yang diperoleh, adalah: 1) siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi dapat memperbaiki kesalahan prosedural siswa yang berkemampuan sedang dan rendah dalam proses diskusi pemecahan masalah matematika dengan menggunakan gesture, yang meliputi: pointing gesture, writing gesture, dan representational gesture, 2) pointing gesture yang digunakan oleh siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi dapat memperbaiki kesalahan prosedural siswa yang berkemampuan sedang dan rendah dalam proses diskusi pemecahan masalah matematika, 3) writing gesture yang digunakan oleh siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi dapat memperbaiki kesalahan prosedural siswa yang berkemampuan sedang dan rendah dalam proses diskusi pemecahan masalah matematika, dan 4) representational gesture yang digunakan oleh siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi dapat memperbaiki kesalahan prosedural siswa yang berkemampuan sedang dan rendah dalam proses diskusi pemecahan masalah matematika.
